Ian established the Hymans Valuers & Auctioneers Group in 1984 after concluding almost ten years in the accounting profession and completing studies as a Chartered Accountant in 1981.
Ian has been actively involved in the property, plant and equipment valuation and auction areas of the business since its inception in 1984, and continues to value over 50 businesses each year.
Ian’s valuation and auction experiences include an enormous range of assets, some of which include including mining, civil engineering, heavy engineering and metal fabrication, transport, printing, plastics extrusion and various manufacturing.

TIM ELLIS

National Director – Property Valuations
Tim has been a Registered Valuer in Queensland for over 30 years. Prior to joining Hymans Tim, has worked in a boutique property consulting firm, was a Director with the Queensland State Government and has extensive experience in the commercial market.
Tim has undertaken numerous valuations for our major clients such as National Australia Bank, La Trobe Financial Services, Westpac, Queensland Government Departments and Brisbane City Council. Tim’s experience includes all commercial property valuation types and specialised assets such as schools, quarries and development sites.
Tim has managed teams of up to 25 professional staff and is widely known for his client focus.

PAUL MOSCHIONE

Divisional Director – Healthcare
Paul is an AAPI CPV Registered Valuer who has over 32 years experience. Prior to joining Hymans, Paul was the Managing Director of a private practice that covered local markets specialising in the healthcare sector. Paul previously held the position of National Director of the Retirement and Healthcare Valuation division at CBRE, specialising in Aged Care Facilities, Retirement Villages, Medical Centres, Hospitals, Manufactured Home Parks and Child Care Centres.
Prior to joining CBRE, Paul was the National Director of Healthcare & Retirement Living Valuations at Colliers International for over 9 years.
Before working with Colliers, Paul was self-employed for 13 years running a boutique valuation/agency practice that provided transactional services in the healthcare sector, valuation advice on Aged Care and Retirement properties as well as Child Care Centres, Residential, small Commercial and Industrial properties.
Paul has had extensive experience in providing professional advice to private and public-sector owner/operators, lending institutions and consultants in the above sectors. The assignments undertaken have been across all asset classes for mergers and acquisitions, mortgage valuations, balance sheet purposes, feasibility studies and consultancy advice.

MICHAEL GALVIN

Queensland Manager – Property Valuations
Michael commenced his career in property with the Queensland Government in 1981, leaving in 1994 to work for several valuation firms in regional Queensland and in Brisbane including an associate directorship with a national firm. He has extensive experience in the valuation of a wide range of property classes, predominantly commercial, retail, industrial, residential and accommodation going concerns.
Michael has provided valuations for a variety of purposes including mortgage security, acquisition and disposal, financial reporting and development feasibility and major clients include banks and other lending institutions, Local and State Governments and developers.

NSW Director – Property Valuations
Matthew is a consummate professional with over 20 years experience in the property industry and extensive knowledge over a broad range of property types and market sectors within the Sydney metropolitan area and regional locations throughout Australia and has an in-depth understanding of local, national and global economic and property markets.
Matthew is the founder of a successful valuation firm and has worked for both small and large valuation firms conducting a range of property valuations for a multitude of purposes and has experience as a Real Estate Agent and in Property Development.

JEENU SINGH

Victorian Property Valuations Manager
Jeenu is a Certified Practicing Valuer with expertise across a broad range of industries within the private and public sector. Throughout his career Jeenu has consistently demonstrated tenacity and a heightened attention to detail ensuring all valuations are evidence-based. Jeenu grounds his work in market data consulting with all stakeholders of the property value chain from real estate agents to landlords. He has developed a reputation across both medium and large firms for his understanding and application of key valuation methodologies including Direct comparison, DCF and capitalisation methods.

LATHA RAMACHANDRAN

Senior Property Valuer
Latha is an API CPV Registered Valuer who has over 17 years Residential and Commercial Valuation experience. Latha has worked in SA, VIC and NSW for both small and large valuation firms and has undertaken valuations for a variety of purposes.
Latha is able to effectively expedite commercial and residential valuations that may be required for the following broad purposes (but not necessarily limited to): Mortgage security; Pre-purchase/sale advice; Stamp duty; Tax and retrospective valuations; Probate; Rent reviews; Family Law Financial reporting Residential development projects including residual site value; and Development feasibility and Expert witness for various courts under the Uniform Civil Procedures Rules.
